RB515-1124 Desert Ironwood Burl - Handcrafted Rollerball Pen
If you are looking for that very unique, one of a kind postable handcrafted rollerball pen - this is it! A very unique pen - beautiful highly grained Blythe Desert Ironwood Burl matched with beautiful components plated with Rhodium and 24k gold accents!
An extensive desert ironwood forest at the base of the Little Maria Mountains north of Blythe contains trees that cannot be dated by counting growth rings, but there is evidence that they live for at least a few centuries and perhaps much longer.
Desert Ironwood is perhaps one of the most highly rated woods with its density, stability, and grain patterns and colors creating a unique combination of characteristics that’s ideal for woodturning. It’s also favored for carving by the indigenous Seri people now living in the state of Sonora in Mexico. Due to the small size of the tree, grain can be wild or gnarled. Fine even texture and excellent natural luster.
-Truly a one of a kind postable pen! It is beautifully balanced and equipped with an extremely smooth writing Schmidt 5888 refill.
