I source materials from all over the world. I find joy in discovering the intricacies and nuances of each piece as I transform it into a one-of-a-kind writing instrument. I have over 100s of types of wood. And a variety of resins and colors, and antlers and horns from exotic animals like White Tail, Axis, Red Stag, Musk Ox, Dall Sheep, Moose, and Elk. Even an ivory Hippopotamus tooth becomes a pen. The possibilities are endless!
The pens I’m proudest of are the ones built from materials that mean something to my customers.
I specialize in custom pens using materials that hold special meaning to you. I will transform wood from a family barn, the old schoolhouse, a piece of grandma's stairs, or grandpa's old tool handle into a fully crafted writing instrument. I happily accept materials from you to incorporate into your custom pen.

This pen is made from a piece of California’s foothill history — Tehachapi Walnut. Closed-end in design (no metal on the tail), it’s lightweight, slim, and organically shaped. The grain is deep and rich, with two turquoise inlays where old wormholes once were — a nod to nature’s imperfection made beautiful. Rhodium and black titanium details give it a refined finish.
