This is your chance to own a piece of history!

The actual pen in these pictures has been sold - I no longer have any of this wood - but I do have wood related to Presidents Monroe and Madison!

The wood for this pen is from an American Horse Chestnut tree planted by George Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. He planted 13 in all, one for each colony. The trees were planted on Fauquier Street, between his mother's and his sister's homes. This was the Georgia Tree, last surviving tree of the thirteen, which died in 2004.

The components used in making this pen are the finest on the market today. The components feature durable Rhodium plating and unique and intricate hand carved pattern that has been richly coated in 22K gold. Five parts of these pens are hand carved and finished by hand, including casting, plating and polishing. All of the casting work has been meticulously done by hand, with a lot of care and attention to detail taken with every step along the way. Before final assembly, the pen is checked again for final fit and finish, and once more hand polished to ensure perfection. This is a truly exquisite pen, fit for a king!

This fountain pen comes equipped with the high quality Schmidt converter, ink cartridge and an Schmidt Iridium tipped gold plated medium point steel nib. It also comes in a Maple box similar to the one seen in the pictures and with a Certificate of Authenticity.
